Better breathing. Better life.
Myofunctional therapy helps you get there.
What is Myofunctional Therapy?
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) treats the often-overlooked muscles of the face and mouth—their resting positions and movement patterns
OMT is an individualized non-invasive exercise-based therapy program that involves neuromuscular reprogramming rehabilitation and provides life-long habits for proper muscle function.
Whether in childhood or as an adult, a custom program guided by a certified provider can lead to improvements with breathing, and your overall health.

Mari Jesser
Registered Dental Hygienist and Myofunctional Therapist
I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and have been practicing for over a decade. During my years as a hygienist, I became increasingly aware of patients’ sleep and breathing concerns. This is what first sparked my interest in Myofunctional Therapy, prompting me to complete additional training and earn certification as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.
Now, I am more passionate than ever about helping patients identify and address their breathing-related concerns. From educating you on the ways the muscles around your face, mouth and tongue play a role all the way to developing personalized treatment plans and exercises, I’m here to help you experience real improvements.
I offer transformative myofunctional therapy virtually and in Fort Collins, Colorado.
